Ashlee Cayte Abrahams-Fitzgerald
Ashlee Cayte Abrahams-Fitzgerald hails from Observatory, Johannesburg. She graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand with a professional degree in Performing and Visual Arts in 2020 - with majors in Directing, Arts Management and Writing.
As a South African multidisciplinary creative with a background in theatre and performance, she aims to support local creatives in the implementation of their artistic concepts, in order to contribute to the realisation and celebration of diverse African narratives. Ashlee is currently focusing on cultural policy and management, as she believes that arts managers and administrators are vital for the sustainability of the cultural and creative industries.
